✺ To give you a heads-up, I'll announce the specific date and time when new collections will be released. Additionally, I'll share previews of the pieces on my Instagram stories the day before or on the day of the release.

✺ Customs are limited. Please feel free to ask, but be prepared for slots to be filled. 

✺ Pieces can tend to go quickly. It's always good to keep up to date with the time of releases. It can be an easier checkout to sign up ahead of time and create a profile through my website. 

 

Pricing: 

I want to provide you with transparency regarding the pricing of my pieces at Wild Fern Jewelry. The cost of each piece can vary based on the materials used and the time invested in crafting them. I personally create each piece by hand, dedicating many hours to ensure its quality. Additionally, sourcing the perfect materials for each piece is a meticulous process.

As a one-woman operation, I handle all aspects of the business, including production, photography, listing, marketing, and packaging. It is my goal to set prices that are fair and accessible while allowing me to be compensated appropriately for my work.

Here are some factors that contribute to the pricing process:

✺  Price of Metal: The type and quality of metal used in each piece influence its pricing.

✺  Sourcing Stones: The process of finding and acquiring stones that complement each design is taken into account.

✺ Hourly Wage: The time and effort invested in handcrafting each piece are considered in the pricing structure.

✺  Material Cost (Shipping & Handling): The expenses associated with shipping and handling materials are factored into the overall cost.

✺  Overhead Fee: To sustain the operations of Wild Fern Jewelry, an overhead fee is included to cover various business expenses.

Sizing & Resizing: 

✺ Please know your size in advance! 

✺ You can always visit a local jeweler and request to be sized. You can also purchase an "adjustable ring sizer" on Amazon and other websites. It is my hope to have them available through my website soon.

✺ Some, but not all rings can be resized about .25 to .5 up in size. Most will have a textured band after being resized.

✺ If you see something you love you can always send me an email through my website and inquire about sizing up a ring.

To ensure that your jewelry maintains its beauty and durability for years to come, I recommend following these care instructions:

✺  Storage:

a. Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Avoid storing your jewelry in humid environments, such as bathrooms, as moisture can tarnish certain metals and gemstones.

b. To prevent tangling and scratching, store each piece of jewelry separately. Consider using individual jewelry pouches or soft cloth bags to protect your jewelry from potential damage.

✺  Cleaning:

a. Regular cleaning helps to maintain the shine and beauty of your jewelry. However, it's essential to use the appropriate cleaning methods for different materials:

i. Sterling Silver: Clean sterling silver jewelry with a soft polishing cloth to remove tarnish. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or brushes, as they can scratch the surface. If needed, a mild soap and water solution can be used for a deeper clean, followed by thorough drying.

ii. Gold: Gold jewelry can be cleaned using warm water and mild soap. Gently scrub the jewelry with a soft brush, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a clean cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

b. It is generally advisable to remove jewelry before engaging in activities that may expose it to harsh chemicals, such as swimming in chlorinated water or using cleaning products.

✺  Wearing:

a. To minimize the risk of damage or loss, remove your jewelry when engaging in physical activities, sports, or household chores that involve heavy impact or contact.

c. Take off your jewelry before going to bed to prevent tangling or snagging on fabrics.

a. It is important to note that certain metals, such as copper or brass, may naturally develop a patina over time. This adds character to the piece and is often considered desirable. If you prefer to maintain the original shine, follow the cleaning instructions specific to that metal.

b. Please be cautious while wearing jewelry around children or pets, as they may unintentionally cause damage or swallow small components.
