Embracing the Wild Path: A Heartfelt Journey into Wild Fern Jewelry

Hey Wild Ferns! 

Guess what? I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in my journey with you all. Come December 2nd, 2023, I'm taking a leap into full-time self-employment with Wild Fern Jewelry! Can you believe it? Not only is this more than just a  new chapter—it's also my birthday! I'm absolutely thrilled to share the news with all of you, my wonderful Wild Fern family. 

Let's rewind to the beginning of this adventure. My journey into the world of jewelry making began in January 2022, a moment when I decided to follow my long-lived passion and desire to create. Picture this: silver meets flame for the first time, and bam! That spark ignited a passion I just couldn't ignore. But you know what's made this journey even more incredible? You guys—the amazing folks who've been right here, cheering me on, offering encouragement and knowledge as I continually learn and evolve my unique style.

Now, for the last six years, I've been working in the mental health field. Balancing Wild Fern Jewelry with my job has been a rewarding challenge, but as this year unfolded, I felt the winds of change. Burnout began knocking on my door, and a natural transition has been beckoning me towards dedicating myself wholly to the craft that fills my soul with joy and purpose. It's a bit nerve-wracking, a lot thrilling, and a journey I'm beyond excited to dive into.

Crafting intentional, hand-forged products is not just a job for me; it's a pleasure and a passion. Each piece, created in the purest sense of handmade artistry, is as unique as the ferns I so deeply adore. No two pieces are alike, and each carries its own personality, shaped with love and patience.

As I take this exciting yet somewhat scary leap into full-time self-employment, I want to express my gratitude to all of you who have supported me on this wild path. Your encouragement and love have created a community that humbles me every day. I hope you find joy in the pieces I create, knowing that they are crafted with the same love and intention with which they were conceived.
